Music Instruction:   Organ

General Comments:
It is preferred that students have a piano background and ability to read music so that lessons can focus on playing with the toes and heels as well as developing the manual technique. The stops (voices) are also a subject to be understood and mastered.

Lessons are customized based on the student's abilities and objectives.

An AGO concave 32-pedal, three manual classical church organ is available in the studio. For practice sessions outside of the studio, the student should have access to an organ. Usually the student's church will give permission to a student that is studying organ with a teacher. Occasionally, because some churches need substitute or job-share organists, they are willing to pay for or subsidize the cost of lessons.
